13 How do I make sure there won't be any offensive content on My Tube?
You have access to a moderation interface that lets you look at videos before they get displayed on your Tube. You can also, at any time, choose to display or delete a videos or blogs. Don't forget, it's your site so you're the boss.

14 How do I change my Tube Name or Email?
When you create an account on StartYourTube.com, your user name is automatically associated with your email. These two pieces of information lets your benefit from a unique and personal account, and therefore it is not possible to modify this without directly deleting your whole account.

15 What file formats are supported on StartYourTube.com?
StartYourTube.com accepts most recognized video formats including MP4, WMV, MPEG, AVI. The video files sizes should not exceed 100 Mb. This is totally competitive with other video sharing sites! Files are then converted for you so that they can be read by the built-in Flash player plug-in in your Web browser.

16 How do I add videos to my Tube once it's ready?
First you need to log into your Tube with your username and password. Once logged in, a 'Send' button appears in the navigation bar on the top.

You'll need to choose a video from your hard drive then click on the upload button.
Sometimes uploading can take a while so please be patient.
Once the video is uploaded, just click the 'add media' button to save it to your Tube.

17 How do I delete a video?
From your admin panel, you can manage all of your content, including deleting videos.

18 Videos stop playing or seem to play in weird ways when I watch them.
Depending on your connection speed, some videos may take longer to download. Wait for the video to be completely loaded before viewing.

19 How do I edit or delete a comment that I posted?
To delete a comment that you posted, click on 'Delete' a button you'll find below the comment. Edit your comments by clicking the Edit button.

20 Why can't I post a comment on some of the Tubes in the Networks?
The Tubes administrator might have made comment posting unavailable for everyone and only available to their Tube subscribers. Send a message to the Tube owner or join their Tube in order to comment.

21 I created a Tube on StartYourTube.com and I want to be informed when somebody posts a new comment, video or blog. How do I do that?
You don't need to do anything! Alerts are activated by default, and you'll get an email each time a new comment is posted on one of your videos. If you want want to stop receiving alerts, change your email preferences in the configurations page of the admin panel.

22 How do I stop receiving alerts for new comments, videos or blogs posted to my Tube?
Change your settings and deactivate the communications you would prefer to not receive. To do so, click on the link at the bottom of any email alert or go change your settings on the configurations page of your admin panel.

23 How do I broadcast a video into another site or blog?
Copy the embed code from under the video you want to share and paste it onto the site or blog you want.

24 Do I need to install anything to use StartYourTube.com?
Most likely, no! You're browser usually has the latest flash player installed automatically. To play videos, you need the latest Flash Player. Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ for more details or to download the latest version.

25 Do I need to accept cookies from StartYourTube.com?
Cookies aren't an obligation but, if you don't mind setting them, they will let you to avoid having to enter your username and password for sign in each time you visit.

26 Do I have bandwidth and storage quotas for my Tube?
Your free Tube limit is 2GB of storage and the bandwidth is limited to 10 000 video views per month. Don't stress out calculating your exact storage and bandwidth needs! We understand how difficult it can be to predict when your Tubes will become more popular and hence require higher quotas.
